Yesterday we arrived in Tulum, Mexico for an escape from the winter weather! The place we are staying is MAGICAL – it’s basically a huge treehouse on top of the Caribbean Sea. We have a hut with an oceanfront balcony overlooking the ocean. There are no showers here, just bathtubs (with a seashell for pouring water on yourself!) and at night, there are no electric lights, they come around and light candles all over your room instead. It’s such a refreshing change from what I’m used to, it’s forcing me to slow down and just enjoy each moment. (Also FYI – no wifi or TV in the rooms!)
This white cover-up maxi dress was one of the first items I ordered for the trip. I love love love the low back! I’ve had the swimsuit for several years now and it’s still a favorite.
I’ll be doing a review of our hotel in the next couple of weeks for those that are interested!
