puff sleeve crop top (comes in three colors!) // ruffle satin miniskirt // nude heeled sandals, identical here // Chanel bag, similar here and here
I haven’t worn an outfit in a while where I’m like, “DARN! I feel good!!” so I was quite surprised to feel that way in this little number. (I think I might in the habit of wearing sweats too often, lol! #momlife) Whatever the case, I REALLY fell in love with this outfit when I tried it on. It’s one of those outfits that every woman needs in her closet! This puff sleeve linen blend top can be dressed up or down – wear it with jeans or denim shorts for a more casual look, or dress it up with a skirt as I’ve shown here. This ruffle mini skirt I have on is absolutely gorgeous – made of a nice, satin material and very flattering for every body type. I love how the hem is not straight across, but curves up slightly on one side – it gives a nice lengthening effect to your legs. Pair with neutral accessories and you’ve got yourself a chic summer outfit!
Life has seriously felt like a roller coaster lately and I love it, but I’m also tired!! Lol! We are supposed to pack up and head to the beach again tomorrow to celebrate July Fourth this weekend, but I don’t know if we have it in us. A four hour car ride used to be a breeze (we just popped on a podcast and that was that), but it’s a whole different ballgame with a toddler. Kennedy hates being confined to her car seat for more than 30 minutes at a time, and it’s getting very difficult to entertain her in the car. If you have any tips or trips, please help a mama out!!

Loving the neutrals. Always in style.
For long car rides with a toddler- have someone sit next to her and play/watch videos together. I’ve also had luck planning car rides around nap time which can take a chunk of time out of your need to entertain the whole ride 🙂 Definitely not easy but do-able! Pack some fun little new toys to bring out at different intervals during the car ride too.
Your outfit is so beautiful! I really love the puff sleeves on the blouse. I hope you all have a happy 4th!

You look beautiful in this outfit! I love the puff sleeves on your top. It’s so fun! I hear you. It’s stressful to travel with a toddler. Actually just with a kid period! Ha! My son is eight and though things have changed for better, it can still get wonky because a kid will be a kid. One of the things I did when traveling with my son was to go during his nap time. It helped some and the other times, I had snacks and things for him to play or watch. He loves his nursery rhymes so we popped those on and that also helped. Anyway, have fun at the beach if you guys do go and happy 4th!

What a lovely look. Perfect for the party or date night. Of course I love those killer high heel sandals too. Boyfriend would love this look on me. Back in Long Island for a Saturday wedding for my cousin. Hopefully it doesn’t rain. As for the little one I would try to keep him occupied with a cartoon on your i-pad or tablet. Enjoy your July 4th where ever you end up.
