Dressed Up Casual

oversize striped tunic (wearing size XS) // distressed jeans (my favorite!) // Loren Hope necklace
This is one of those outfits I like to call “dressed up casual” because it’s dressy but still so comfortable… one of the reasons being this oversize striped tunic. I am obsessed with this thing! I love the oversized look and think it would be SO CUTE with a colorful chunky scarf and booties. (Warning – this will not be the last time you see this sweater on my blog!) Anyways, for this look I paired the sweater with fuchsia accents for a girly, glam look that is perfect for date night or dinner with your girlfriends.

On another note, a huge cold front has hit Charlotte! It got down to 10 DEGREES last night and the high today is 30. This kind of weather is only okay with me if it snows… haha! (I don’t think we are going to get any snow though.) I am planning on bundling up in my absolute warmest clothes, sipping on coffee or hot chocolate all day today, and staying inside as much as possible!

  8. I love your blog and come back everyday for a new outfit, but I'm starting to wonder if you'll change it up. The formula seems to always be a sweater and jeans with varying accessories. For those who don't have the luxury of dressing casually everyday, it would be great to see you do something other than jeans. I keep coming back because I love your style, but as someone who has to dress professionally everyday, jeans don't have everyday function.

    • Hey Kara, Thank you so much for your feedback! I always love hearing what readers are interested in seeing. You're right, I do wear jeans and sweaters a lot (it is my go-to whenever it is freezing outside!!). My blog has always been more focused on casual and weekend outfits, but I think it's a great idea to mix it up and feature some professional outfits as well. I will do my best to incorporate some within the next few weeks!
