Desks and work spaces, in my opinion, are the most fun to decorate! It’s so much easier to work in a pretty and organized environment – your surroundings can really make inspiration strike. I recently moved into a new apartment so I’ve been motivated to refresh my desk. (Pssst. Speaking of my new apartment, meet my roomie and go follow her blog!) This is the area where I blog from every day… although usually you’ll spot a mug of coffee as well. My favorite part of this space is the gallery wall above my desk. I honestly did it piece by piece, and I think it came together pretty well. (Can you spot the painting that A Preppy State of Mind made for me?)
To stay organized, I keep all of my paper documents in this acrylic file folder from The Container Store. There’s a different folder for bills, contracts, important receipts, and so on. Having a wall calendar also helps keep me organized. This particular wall calendar is made by Sugar Paper and found at Target. I’m obsessed with the gold dots!
Prince George decided to make an appearance in these photos as well. As anyone with a cat knows, they LOVE to sit on your papers/computer/books… whatever you happen to be working on at the moment. George always messes up my computer from pressing buttons with his paws!

Love the cameo by Prince George! When we first got my older cat Bagheera, she would always fall asleep on the laptop keyboard and she was so small she just fit right on it! So cute! Now the cats just want the attention if we're on the computer or reading a book. Silly cats!
