One of my very, very, very favorite things to do in the fall is go on a road trip. The leaves start changing in the mountains way earlier than where I live, so it’s fun to pack up and hop in the car for a weekend getaway. Both Blowing Rock and Highlands are GORGEOUS mountain towns in North Carolina. Anyway, the second best part of the road trip is always packing up for it! Barrington Gifts has just come out with the cutest totes and luggage for fall. It’s so fun to play around on their website – you can pick the color, pattern, monogram style, leather, and more for each and every one of their bags. Here are a few of my favorites:
St. Anne tote: This tote is perfect for trips because it’s incredibly roomy. I can fit my laptop, planner, all my makeup, keys and a book inside of it. It doesn’t zip so it’s really easy to get in and out of and it fits really comfortably on your shoulder if you want to go hands-free. Plus I am obsessed with the pattern I picked out for it! The checkered print reminds of a designer brand.
Belmont Cabin bag: This bag is the PERFECT bag for a weekend getaway. It has nice leather trim, top handles and a shoulder strap, and fits everything I need for two or three nights away. Seriously – you can fit all your outfits, PJs, scarves and even your shoes. The material is water-resistant nylon and it also comes with a leather luggage tag.
Highclere accessories case: This accessories case is just too cute! I use it for carrying all of my electronics (chargers and headphones, etc.) but it would also work for a makeup case. For an accessories case, it’s pretty spacious – it even fits my iPhone 7 Plus.
If anything, definitely check out Barrington’s website and play around with the color combinations and patterns on their bags – you might just create your dream bag!

I'm not sure what the name is – when you click on the patterns it should pop up as one of the available patterns! You can't choose it by name so you have to pick it from the picture. It should be under the new fall collection.

What stripe coloring did you select? I only see a sand and pink, maybe it's just the exposure of the photograph. I've been eyeing these bags for a while but can't decide if the tote will spill everywhere on a airplane or if it tips at work.

I'm so excited to hear you're getting a puppy! I've followed your blog for a long time now and love keeping up with your style and adventures. I actually attend NCSU, but my bestfriend from High School is in KD at UNC. I also have a puppy myself (well he's 8 months old so still a puppy to me). He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are known for being good dogs to have if you have cats as well. I can't wait to see what kind of puppy you get!
