Good morning, friends! What a wonderful weekend we had this past weekend – it was my friend Krista’s bachelorette weekend in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! When she asked my thoughts on flying somewhere tropical for her bachelorette, it was a no-brainer. Myself and Krista’s sister did a lot of research trying to find a house or hotel that was both large enough for eight girls and affordable at the same time. We looked at St. Lucia, the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, and finally landed on the Hilton Playa del Carmen in Mexico… an all-inclusive resort about an hour away from Cancun. Believe it or not, I had actually been there before with my family, RIGHT when I first started blogging (and the posts are still up haha, you can see one of them here!). It was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had, so I was really confident that Krista would love it too (and she did). There are so many great things about the resort – the pools, location, comfy beds, but what makes it SO amazing (in my opinion) is the food!!! I’ve been to a few all-inclusive resorts where the food was less-than-stellar, but EVERY single meal at the Hilton Playa del Carmen was hands down amazing. That’s hard to find 🙂 Anyway, this post is not sponsored by them or anything, I just thought I’d share in case you’re looking for a great honeymoon or bachelorette spot! I’m dying to take Chris back with me because we’ve never been together.
ANYWAY, I guess I should start talking about the outfit now, huh? This blue and white minidress is so perfect for a beach vacation – I love the flounce of the skirt and all of the lace detailing. It’s comfy too! I wore this one night in Mexico for dinner and dancing with the girls (and of course, late-night ice cream!). And finally, I know that it’s expensive (sorry about that) but I do have some very affordable outfits planned for next week’s blog posts, so stay tuned for that 🙂 And TOMORROW at 6 a.m. I’ll be posting my favorite vegetarian meals so get ready!!!! xoxo.
