Good morning, lovely people! I’m happy because the sun is shining and it FEELS like Christmas outside. It got down into the thirties overnight, but I really don’t mind the cold weather since it gets me in the cozy spirit! And it’s the perfect excuse to break out this Abercrombie dad coat. What is a “dad coat,” you ask? Well, I’m not really sure what to tell you, ’cause my dad sure as heck wouldn’t wear one haha! But regardless of the name, I do really love this classic coat and especially the fact that you can dress it up or down. And it’s 40% off today so that’s an extra bonus. 🙂 And if you’re looking for good deals, I just saw that my Marc Fisher booties are also 40% off (I have them in the color “cloud suede”). There are SO many good sales online right now, I get a little overwhelmed and have to cut myself off from online shopping, haha!
We put our Christmas tree up over the weekend, but we have yet to decorate it! I think because it was a DISASTER to put up. Somehow, a lot of the lights got disconnected (maybe when we took it apart last year?) and it took us three hours to figure out which lights needed to be connected where, and to get it all put together. So I think I’ll save the decorating for when I get my energy back LOL!

I bet it’s called the dad coat because the dad in Home Alone II wears one very similar in the airport when Kevin gets on the wrong flight, haha!
haha I’ve never heard of a “dad coat” before! It looks really nice and comfortable for cold weather! And you’re right- sooo many good sales right now! It’s hard not to shop and overspend.
Oh no! I hate it when that happens when putting up an artificial tree. That has definitely happened to my family and I in the past and it can be energy-draining for sure! There’s still time to decorate your tree another day. 🙂
