When I first heard of {Lissa Mar Designs} I almost couldn’t believe it – how had I not known about this clothing line before? One visit to their website and I promise you will be hooked. Fun, colorful prints, nautical patterns, and southern, classic style are incorporated into everything they make.
My mom and I both fell in love with these gorgeous Lissa Mar dresses! I love the bright colors and the nautical feel of both pieces. We are headed to the beach next weekend and you can bet your bum we’re packing our dresses with us.
When my dress arrived, it was the same length as my mom’s. I had it altered because it was a little bit too long on me. I love the length of it now though – since there’s a lot of fabric up top and it’s very conservative, I think the shortness of it really draws attention to your legs!

Could you and your mom be any more adorable?! And I think it was a great idea to have your dress shortened. With the neckline being so high and the sleeves, it kinda needs something to make it a little younger. The pattern is beautiful!
