It’s June!!! Memorial Day has come and gone so that means it’s officially summer in the Dorsch household! May was a wonderful month full of traveling and a lot of family beach time and I loved every second of it! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings, but until then here are May’s best sellers. There are so many great summer finds on this list!
10. Amazon Snack Spinner
This Amazon snack spinner has been a life saver this summer! It’s great for car rides to the beach or just running errands around town. I only bought one at first, but after one long car ride I immediately bought another one so both girls could have their favorite snacks on hand and easily accessible!
9. Polo Ralph Lauren Flag Sweater
I wore this flag sweater while we were in Nantucket! It’s so good that I actually have it in ivory and navy. It’s the perfect summer sweater because it’s lightweight and not itchy at all, but it will still keep you warm on those cool summer nights. I also wear it wrapped around my shoulders for a pretty layered look. This would be so cute for the Fourth of July!
8. Free People Pina Colada Tunic
Y’all know how much a love a Free People look and this one is under $80 and perfect for summer. It’s one of those easy breezy dresses that’s perfect to throw on after a long day at the beach or to wear for a full day running errands and being a mom. It’s really comfortable and it’s available in four other classic colors.
7. Abercrombie Drama Ruffle Tiered Gown
If you have a wedding to attend this summer and you don’t know what you are wearing yet, then this is the dress for you! It’s absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and so flattering too. I love this blue and yellow floral pattern, but it comes in seven other beautiful floral patterns so you can find one that fits the venue perfectly.
6. Amazon Purple Summer Cardigan
Chris and I had a little coffee date while we were in OIB last week and I wore this Amazon cardigan (that is SO affordable!) paired with this LoveShackFancy ruffle mini skirt. The cardigan is going to be a new staple in my summer wardrobe – I also threw it on over a white dress at dinner the other night!
5. J. Crew Small Heart Straw Bag
I bought this heart-shaped bag to take on our trip to Nantucket this past month and I carried it the entire time! It’s absolutely precious and adds a little romantic detail to any outfit. I really appreciate how it doesn’t take up much room in my suitcase. It would be so cute to carry if you’re attending a beach wedding or to take on your honeymoon if you’re the bride!
4. Amazon Floral Designer Dupe Dress
I can not believe this dress is an Amazon find!! The quality is incredible and it’s a dupe for a designer dress that costs over $1,000! The floral pattern is so pretty and I love the open back detail. It’s a great option for any dinner parties you may have this summer or to pack on your next summer getaway!
3. Abercrombie Eyelet Maxi Dress
Everyone needs an eyelet dress for summer and this one is perfection! It’s super flattering and the lightweight cotton fabric is really breathable so you stay cool even on the hottest of summer days. I wore it on our vacation in OIB and I’m going to wear it for an upcoming date night that we have planned.
2. Faithfull The Brand Stanze Linen Vest
It took me a minute to get on the vest train, but this linen vest changed that for me! I’m obsessed with it! I love how it elevates a typical summer tank top outfit. The linen material is ideal for summer and it looks great with shorts and tailored pants too. It’s also available in crisp white and classic black.
1. Hill House The Ellie Nap Dress
You know that perfect sundress that you reach for again and again all summer long? Well this dress is it for me! It’s such a classic summer dress that can easily be dressed up with heeled sandals and statement jewelry or dressed down with sneakers and a ball cap. It comes in so many pretty colors and patterns too!
Great finds for a very Fashionable May. All are awesome choices by my picks is the heart straw bag. Such a summerly bag. Perfect for a night out. White dress for summer is a summer must for sure. Love that Hill house dress. Perfect to dress up with heels, flip-flops or sneakers for a retro 80’s look. That would remind me of my mom running off to work back in the day. Of course the tunic is another summer must. Works well as a beach coverup or a casual dress. Loose fitting for me equals XS size for sure. Shows lots of leg which is right down my alley.
