Our 2021 Fall Bucket List + Printable PDF!

Good morning, friends!! Can you believe that Halloween is THIS weekend? It feels like 2021 just got started, and now here we are in October. This fall means so much to me because it’s Kennedy’s very FIRST one! Even though she doesn’t *really* know what fall is all about yet, I still want to make it special for her. I came up with a list of things I really wanted to do with her. Some of these are Halloween-related (like carving a pumpkin!), but others we can do well into November.

If you like this list, you can download it to your computer and even print it off, too!

Our Fall Bucket List:

Go Apple Picking

This one was the first one on our list and we got to complete it in Vermont! (The pictures at the beginning of this post are from our apple adventure.) I love apple picking because I LOVE apples, especially with peanut butter. For Kennedy, I like to steam her apples and add a little bit of cinnamon to them, too.

Carve a Pumpkin

Chris and I are going to do this on Saturday in preparation for Halloween! We usually like to get creative with our pumpkin carvings, but we haven’t come up with this year’s idea just yet.

Bake an Apple Pie

I am 100% planning on doing this for Thanksgiving this year! I love to make creative designs with the dough on top, like cutting out fall leaf shapes!

Burn Fall Candles

My favorite non-toxic candles have been burning NON-STOP in our house since September. As I’m writing this, I currently have Mulled Cider burning on my office desk

Eat Candy Corn

Yep, you have to! I bought a big bag of candy corn over the weekend and put some out in a little ghost-shaped dish. Kennedy is a little too young for candy corn (she hasn’t had any sugar yet), but I know one day she will love this one.

Take Fall Family Photos

We crossed this off our list a few weeks ago! Chris, Kennedy and I took family photos at some gardens near our house. I absolutely can’t wait to get the photos back!

Watch Hocus Pocus

Not going to lie, Chris and I have already watched Hocus Pocus THREE times so far this year. It’s (one of) our favorite Halloween movies and brings back such great memories of being a kid.

Some other items that aren’t listed here, but that I still want to complete, are to pack a picnic and eat it outside, read fall books, and take Kennedy on a hay ride!

I’d love to hear what’s on your list this fall.

xoxo

The item at the top of my Fall Bucket List is always the corn maze! We have a really awesome one (from USA Today’s Best List) nearby. It’s challenging and fun!

Such a fun bucket list! I was in my sister’s Fall wedding this past Saturday. I think going to a Fall wedding happens just about every year for me! =)

I haven’t dressed up for Halloween in years, so my big goal this year is to dress up! It won’t be with anyone and I don’t think I’m even leaving the house, but that’s it!

Oh my gosh! I just noticed you’re at Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Stowe/Waterbury! Did you try their cder donuts? They’re a must! Glad you made it up here to Vermont again this year. It’s been absolutely gorgeous this fall; I think you came a bit before full foliage. And Oct 14-17 I was at Highlands in NC and got to enjoy its beauty at my nephew’s wedding!
