white off-the-shoulder sweater // plaid skirt (only $40! wearing size small) // suede boots // gold necklace // YSL handbag
I’m in Blowing Rock for a few days with my family, and I’m so excited to be back because one of my favorite coffee shops is located here downtown! I ordered an *organic* cinnamon vanilla latte and was in my happy place all day 🙂 On to the outfit, though… can y’all believe I was actually cold in this outfit? It’s been in the 50s here and it feels like we skipped fall and went straight to winter, lol! I didn’t really mind the cold, though, because this plaid skirt is so cute! It looks like Burberry, but it’s only $40. 🙂 I’m wearing a size small! Everything else I’m wearing is linked below!
If you guys would like to see a Blowing Rock travel guide, let me know! xoxo

We need a pregnancy update! Hope all is well
Please do a Blowing Rock travel guide! We’re always looking for fun places to explore in NC!
I’d love to see a Blowing Rock travel guide! From what we are hearing, it might be late 2021 before things get back to normal, so I’m looking for local road trips to take around the Southeast. I have no desire to mask up and get on a plane–or deal with an airport. Enjoy the mountains!
This is such a darling little fall look! I may need that skirt for a fun little trip to the Finger Lakes next month! Hope you are having a great time, Caitlin! 🙂

Hi. I’d like to know what color nail polish you are wearing. It is very classic and perfect for fall. Thank you.
It’s a gel polish! OPI #26 🙂
As a NC resident who has still not been to Blowing Rock, I’d love a travel guide! That would be so helpful.
Love this outfit so much and these photos are seriously stunning! That skirt really does remind me of Burberry! All the heart eyes!

Please post a travel guide to Blowing Rock!!
Would love a Blowing Rock guide! I’m always curious what people actually do when they go to the mountains for the weekend.
How fun! My husband and I often stay up the road at Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis. It’s the house that corresponds to the original Mast General Store. We rent a cabin on the property. Also, gotta check out Appalachian cookie company – they’re open late!
Yes would love to see a Blowing Rock travel guide! I always love when you do those!
I would LOVE to see a Blowing Rock travel guide!!! I live in High Point, so we are “neighbors”. We love our beautiful mountains! I really enjoy hearing about your favorite places especially the ones in NC.

I would love to be in Blowing Rock right now but with my husbands job and travel restrictions it’s not possible right now. Living on an hour away really makes you miss it. You always look very stylish and that baby bump looks wonderful on you.
Travel guide! Ill be going to North Carolina next month!
I haven’t been to Blowing Rock since I was an early teen. I’d love a travel guide as I’m sure it’s changed a lot since then. Recommendations of places to stay/ cabins to rent would be great.
Yes def would like a travel guide plan on going whenever the leaves change
My husband and I went to Blowing Rock last fall and I loved it! I had to go there because of Jan Karons books known as the Mitford Series based on the village of Blowing Rock! We combined it with a visit to Banner Elk to see the Wooly Worm Festival and we stopped at Black Mountain to see some old friends. All three of those towns were fabulous and we enjoyed our trip so much, lots of quaint small shops and good restaurants!
I love your blog, your clothes and all your travels. Pregnancy looks great on you and I can’t wait to follow you on this wonderful “adventure” with you!
I would love to see a Blowing Rock travel guide! Please share!
