Sorry for my absence here on the blog… we have been busy traveling, parenting, working and all the things! I do have some exciting blog posts planned, though. We took a trip to Harbour Island, Bahamas, last week and I have a lot of outfits to share from our trip. I know we are still in the dead of winter, but I am dreaming of spring! So even if it’s too cold to wear these outfits where you live, I hope they bring a bit of sunshine to your day.
One of my favorite outfits from our trip was this purple tiered midi dress. It’s flowy and feminine, but comfortable too with 100% cotton lining! The price point is not too bad, especially considering you can go ahead and start wearing it now (I actually wore it in Winston over the weekend – just added a denim jacket – and it was a perfect transitional outfit!). To style this dress in the Bahamas, I added my favorite flip flops, straw hat and a seashell handbag.
On another note, Harbour Island might just be my new favorite place I’ve ever traveled – it even rivals the Amalfi Coast in Italy! I found the island to be gorgeous, with lush vegetation, colorful buildings, pink sand beaches and turquoise waters. The food was incredible, the people were insanely nice. And it was super kid-friendly, too! I will be sharing a full Harbour Island Travel Guide later this week, so stay tuned!
Love that bag!
Happy Valentines Day to you. I can see you had an awesome family trip. Lovely pink dress. I just wish is was a little shorter so it can show off stylish shoes better. I have a tropical trip coming up to the US Virgin Islands late month into Early March and I can’t wait to wear bikinis, cover up dresses & flip-flops by day/gym clothes for exercise and tropical print dresses with heels by night. It will be nice to leave behind early springish/winter outfits behind for a while.
thanks
