Happy Tuesday, everyone! Yesterday was my SIX YEAR blog anniversary, can you believe it? It almost seems like yesterday that I was sitting in my room in my sorority house in college trying to come up with a name for my blog. Once I started it, I kept it a secret from all my college friends (I was embarrassed!), hoping that my blog would help me get a job in NYC in the magazine industry upon graduation. Things didn’t exactly turn out the way I had planned (luckily, God knew what was best for me even if I didn’t!) and what a wonderful, wild ride it has been over the past six years.
I went back and read my very first blog post and was surprised to see that, although the fashion trends have changed quite a bit, I’m still the same girl that I was six years ago – God is still the center of my world, as is my family, I still love eating healthy and working out, reading books, my favorite place is still the beach…. and I even still wore my favorite L’Oreal Double Extend primer wayyy back in the day haha. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite looks from over the years, starting with my very first outfit post ever.
I apologize in advance for all the photos – I got a little nostalgic and couldn’t stop!! 🙂

Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart, to every single one of you who reads this blog. It means more to me than I’ll probably ever be able to express. Your emails, tweets, kind words and the friendships I’ve made are the things I remember most about the past six years. I wouldn’t still be blogging today without your support, encouragement and love. I hope you think of me as your friend (like I think of all of you!!) and know that you can always reach out to me (email/tweet/snapchat text whatever) if you have ever have a question, need advice or just a listening ear.
