On last night’s instagram post I asked if you guys would rather see a roundup of my favorite beauty products from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, or a roundup of the best workout wear. I think it was pretty much an even tie, so I’ll be doing both (look out for the beauty post next week!). So today we’ll be focusing on workout wear! I think we can all agree that wearing cute workout gear makes you more motivated to get your butt in the gym (at least it does for me!), and this year Nordstrom did not disappoint in the athletic wear category. There are lots of basic pieces – solid colored leggings, sports bras and simple tanks – that I’m stocking up on for the next year!
In the above photos I’m wearing this Alo “yoga” hoodie and these Zella high-waisted leggings (both included in the Nordstrom Sale) – and I’m in love! The hoodie is a little cropped (so wear it with high-waisted leggings unless you want your stomach to show) but the inside is fuzzy and no joke THE SOFTEST SWEATSHIRT I HAVE EVER WORN. I will definitely be wearing it to pure barre and all over town to run errands in when it gets a little cooler outside. As for the leggings, I decided to get them because I already own them in black and they’re the BEST! I wear them through the fall & winter with big cozy sweaters, in addition to working out in them.
