Believe it or not, the newest trend for fall is SNAKESKIN! Yep, you heard that right 😉 From handbags to jean jackets to booties, you can count on seeing snake print everywhere this fall. I bought these snakeskin booties during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale this year – although that particular pair is sold out in a bunch of sizes, have no fear! Nordstrom has a ton of other snakeskin booties – you can view them all here (you may have to click through the colors to find the snake prints!). I really like how they add a pop of “print” to the outfit and really make a statement… while still maintaining a neutral color scheme. Also wanted to mention that the Free People peplum sweater I’m wearing is currently 30% off right now!
My family and I are currently in Highlands, NC, for a little escape from the scorching hot weather back home. It feels sooo nice here – I even needed my UGG boots yesterday morning! We’re staying at a dog-friendly hotel and Winnie is LOVING it – they give her treats and she has her own comfy dog bed and blanket in the room. If you guys would like to see a Highlands Guide, let me know! 🙂

Snakeskin is definitely growing on me and I think it’s a great alternative to leopard print, at least in the accessories department. Those booties are super cute!

Up North, snakeskin print has been as common as pumpkin spice for fall for several years now. Not a new trend, but so glad to see more options for those of us who love the print!
Yes! I’d love to see a Highlands guide. My grandparents lived there years ago and I used to visit every summer. But I haven’t been back since 2007!
