Bucket hats are trending for spring, and I think they are quite polarizing! It seems that half of you love them, and half can’t wait for them to go out of style again, haha! I personally think they are really fun and cute. And after such a tough year, don’t we all need a bit of fun and lightheartedness in our lives? I’m particularly loving this hot pink one… and I ordered this butterfly one for myself – I can’t wait to wear it to the pool this summer! Speaking of summer, is everyone else experiencing the heat wave that we are? It currently feels like the middle of summer outside! I personally love it, but it does make it hard to take Kennedy outside… I’m afraid that she’s going to overheat. If anyone has suggestions on keeping babies cool in the heat, I’m all ears!

I am on team “hell no” to bucket hats, but as far as keeping Kennedy cool in the summer — I had a friend recommend to me getting a gel cooling ice pack (like the soft kind of one you’d put in a lunchbox) and putting it under baby’s beach towel to lay her on when lounging under a beach tent. The spray-misters with built in fans are also great for cooling babies in the heat!
I cannot decide if I love them or hate them! I definitely agree it’s either one or the other haha.

Bucket hats are cute and low maintenance, but I am still a wide-brim visor girl. I can’t stand having my long hair down when it’s hot and a visor is really the only option for a bun or medium/high pony. I like the straw kind you can roll up and put in a beach bag or suitcase. Let’s make visors great again! : )
