Tis the season, my friends… for weddings! Spring always marks the beginning of the wedding season, and if you’re like me, you have to have lots of dresses in preparation. Chris and I have four or five weddings to attend this year (that’s actually less than normal!) and I always look out for wedding guest dresses early in the season so I’ll be prepared all spring and summer long. This Self Portrait Azalea floral lace dress from My Theresa is honestly my dream dress to wear to a wedding! This is a brand new color, it’s a light lavender, and it’s absolutely gorgeous in person. I love how classy it is, and yet subtly sexy at the same time. I really wanted the dress to stand out so I paired it with neutral accessories like these sandals and a beige handbag. You won’t outshine the bride but you will definitely stand out in this dress!!! 🙂 And if it’s not your style, I linked up a BUNCH of wedding guest dresses in the widget below. That’s one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen and I always see it a ton among bloggers during spring, especially in the wedding season. I personally don’t have any weddings to attend this year but I do have other similar events and I’m in need of some inspiration as I have no idea what I’m gonna wear yet.

You look beautiful and this dress is stunning! I know you said it is lavender but it comes across as white in pictures. I don’t think I would recommend a white lace dress as an option for a wedding guest :/. IMO white should be reserved for the bride only! Still a beautiful dress — just maybe a different color would be better as a wedding guest 🙂
I promise it’s lavender haha! In person it doesn’t look white at ALL and would be perfectly fine at a wedding!:) Of course that would be silly to recommend wearing white to a wedding!
