Whenever I get invited to a holiday party, my first thought is always, “What am I going to wear?!” followed by a bout of panic. This year, I’ve vowed to prepare early and plan out my holiday outfits ahead of time! This pleated sleeve blouse from the Milly collection at Nordstrom was a splurge, but it’s so versatile that it’s completely worth it. For this look I tied on a black bow that I already had in my closet… it would also look beautiful with a statement necklace like this one! You can wear it with any skirt, but it also looks just as great with dressier pants and even jeans.
I also want to point out that the lace skirt is on sale for less than $25… it makes a great Christmas and even New Year’s skirt! I’m wearing the XS 🙂
I had a very relaxing weekend… I went to go see the movie “Interstellar” on Friday night and it was one of the best movies I’ve seen this year. My dad is an amateur astronomer so I was already familiar with a lot of the space terminology, which made it really interesting! Even if you aren’t into space, it’s still a great movie, haha (and it has Matthew McConaughey in it!). Anyways, stay tuned this week for more holiday looks!
