It’s an age-old dilemma that women often ask… how do you make your legs appear longer? There are a couple of answers to this question (in my opinion!). The first is to wear monochromatic colors so that your shoe color and pant color match. This works because it creates a clean line and your eye travels from the top of your leg straight down to the floor without stopping. The second trick is to wear black… the color black naturally makes you look thinner, and when your legs look thinner they appear to be longer, too. My third tip? Wear heels or any shoes that add inches on to your height. Ta-da… longer legs. If you’re looking for the triple whammy… then you need these Ash booties I’m wearing in today’s post. Not only are they black and they blend in with the black pants, but they are really tall too (4 inches) and I am super obsessed with them!
Funny story about my poncho… yesterday my boyfriend referred to it as a scarf and said, “Your scarf kinda looks like a blanket!” I started dying laughing and told him that I wasn’t wearing a scarf… but yes, he was right, my poncho did look like a blanket. Men say the darndest things!

Loving the poncho/ruana. They are so hot right now. I love wearing them but had to stop myself from purchasing multiple of them. I actually like to belt them. Giving tips is awesome and I'm sure so many girls will take our advice. I on the other hand, not sure much. I actually try to do the opposite sometimes. Don't get me wrong, being 5'll can be amazing but also a problem. I have a 34inch inseam. Jean are a nightmare. Most designers think if you're that tall, you're a heavy girl. Not the cause designers! I'm tall but I wear a size 4 or 26 waist jean. Also dresses can be a problem. I'm wearing a dress I wouldn't usually wear to work and already I received comments. Though I'm wearing opague tights, I still have a lot of leg. So long leggs, yes, preferred by most girls. However, for those that have been blessed with them, sometimes wouldn't mind switching with short girls.
