platform sandals (size down half a size)
What’s my number one item you need in your spring/summer wardrobe? A white tank! Specifically, this white double layer tank (it’s affordable too! Less than $40). I had one a few years ago and wore it with jeans, white pants, colored pants, jean shorts, as a bathing suit cover-up, etc. the list goes on and on. You don’t really know how indispensable it is until you have it, and then you reach for it every single week! (Trust me on this.) This specific outfit is meaningful to me because the night I wore it, my boyfriend and a few of my best friends in Charlotte threw me a surprise going away party. I was SHOCKED. I thought we were going over to my friend Seth’s house to hang out with him, and there was a room full of all my friends waiting, with donuts, pictures, decorations and champagne.
Which brings me to my next point…
I have moved! To Winston Salem! It’s a short drive from Charlotte, and I will be back and forth a ton every week, so you won’t notice much of a change in my content. I really love my new apartment here – I have it to myself (no roommates) and it’s bright and cheery (and I also have an office!). I live near a bakery and an ice cream shop, though, which means definite trouble (I have been to the bakery four times in the three days I’ve lived here – HA). Anyway, my weekend was filled with unpacking boxes, organizing and trying some new restaurants. I’d love to hear how your weekend was?!

I wear a sticky bra! You can get them from Target for around $10 or $15 and they last for a couple of months 🙂

Congrats on the move! I lived in Winston when I graduated college. Such a fun and cute little city. I loved going on walks around Wake Forest's campus and Reynolda Village. There's lots of cute shops in town too! I love the plaza with the Trader Joes. Downtown favorites were Tates and Foothills Brewing. Best of luck!
