I’m back with another round of Friday Favorites! This has been a tough week… after getting back from traveling last weekend, there were so many errands to run, bills to pay, and lots of cleaning and organizing to do. I think I wore workout clothes almost every day this week (and only put makeup on once!) which was pretty nice π Without further ado, here are my Friday Favorites this week:
First up, this Brandy Melville sweater! I’m pretty sure it is the Ollie sweater, although I had trouble finding it online (I did see it on Brandy Melville’s instagram account though). I originally bought it at the Nordstrom in Dallas, although Nordstrom does not carry the brand online. I wear it at least twice a week, with a very similar outfit as below:
I think a good summer sweater is an essential! I love it for traveling or for throwing on for chilly mornings. Here’s how I wore it in Curacao with casual shoes:
same outfit as above but with Tory Burch sandals
Next up, hair products! Here’s what I picked up this week:
I’m getting a hair cut this weekend because my ends haven’t been trimmed in so long. When your hair gets really long it can be really hard to take care of… normal shampoo and conditioner sometimes just don’t cut it. I had been using Herbal Essences shampoo & conditioner from the drugstore for the past couple of months and noticed that it seemed to be drying out my hair. One of my friends in Winston, Allison, is a beauty guru and recommended that I try out both the Unite 7 Seconds leave-in conditioner and the sudzz fx moxee conditioner, so I picked them up from a salon this week. Allison has really long, beautiful blonde hair so I was happy to have her beauty secrets! She told me that the 7 Seconds conditioner is called “7 seconds” because that’s exactly how long it takes to realize that you never want to live without this product again. And I agree with her!! You spray it on you hair after your shower, brush it through, and style it as normal. It leaves your hair feeling soft and silky, while also preventing damage – the reviews online are pretty incredible, and after using it, I agree with them! It is an amazing product. Allison also recommended the moxee conditioner because it is a “reconstructing” conditioner and is gentle enough for everyday use. It is made specifically for damaged hair – after one use, I already felt like my hair was softer and less damaged. The combination together was life-changing… completely different than after shampooing with my drugstore stuff!
While I was in Curacao, I tested out a new makeup product, this transparent powder duo. This is a really cool compact for those of us with oily T-zones (in the spring/summer my skin gets very “shiny”). When I dusted the matte side on my T-zone it controlled the shine for hours – even in the tropical, humid climate of Curacao. It’s completely transparent so you can’t tell you’re wearing anything on your skin. The other side of the compact is a “glow” infused with rose gold pearls – it is perfect for highlighting cheekbones and doesn’t contain any “sparkle” – just a really pretty luminous glow.
Finally, you guys always ask how I travel with all my jewelry.
Charming Charlie sent me this jewelry organizer (it folds in half and is very flat, perfect for fitting in a suitcase). I can’t find it on their website, but I think they carry it in stores. Each part is attached with velcro, so you can take them out and pack them individually if you wish. I just really love how much jewelry it fits for how compact it is! There’s a spot for necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets. It was a life-saver on my last trip!
The problem with most organizers is that they’re very bulky and hard to pack. I’m linking up some packable jewelry organizers below (I particularly like this one, especially for the price!):
That’s it for this week, folks! If you have a question about something let me know in the comments. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend!

My hair has been pretty dry lately, so I will have to look into this shampoo and conditioner. I think it is related to pregnancy hormones, but I guess we will see ha. Oh and I love all of your cute jewelry! You always have such fun pieces. π
