Helloooo fall! Can you tell I’m ready for it? This is one look I’ll be wearing on repeat when it gets cooler outside! The blouse can also be worn now with shorts, since it’s lightweight and off-the-shoulder. The pattern is GORGEOUS in person.
This one-shoulder top is a summer favorite as well… I love how different it is from every other top I own!
This was taken a few weeks ago at one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte, Cafe Monte. If you’re ever in the area you must head there for a coffee and their nutella crepes – they’re so authentic, they taste JUST like the crepes I had in Paris.
I am loving neutrals lately…
A few weeks ago we headed to Blowing Rock to escape the heat! It was 70 degrees there all day and I was almost chilly even in a cardigan and booties. It was divine. If you’re wondering about my band-aids, I also fell down the stairs that day! I was trying to escape a wasp (lol) and ran straight down a stone staircase.

And finally, I love this pre-fall look as well! My sleeveless turtleneck is less than $40 and I think the side slits are SO cute and a little sexy! Plus it’s a great deal.
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday! I took this past weekend off from blogging (I didn’t take a single instagram or blog photo!) and to be honest, it was so nice. I’ve been feeling a little burned out on blogging lately, and it was nice to take a break from it and really enjoy being around the people I love – and just to live in the moment! So take this as a little reminder to not be so hard on yourself and to take a break when you need it. 🙂

The food at this venue was excellent, as was the service, many of our friends and family still rave about it. My wife and I highly recommend these venues in Houston. We came here again for dinner and everything was again good and the service was extremely fast.
