Good morning and happy FRIDAY you guys! I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately on my makeup products – I’ve been going for that “no makeup makeup” look that is very natural and bronzed – perfect for spring and summer. A lot of my go-to products are incredibly affordable, too, and can be found at your nearest Walmart! (Which is great because no matter where I travel in the U.S., there’s bound to be a Walmart nearby 🙂
Here’s a roundup of some of the best products for that natural, bronze summer makeup look:
L’Oreal Paris Lumi Glotion Highlighter #902Â – I wear this on days when I don’t wear any foundation but still want glowy, dewy skin. It also works really well as a primer!
Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder – This is the perfect setting powder for your T-zone – the areas where you DON’T want to be shiny and glowy! My T-zone always gets oily in the summer and this prevents it from happening.
Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in “sunshine” – I apply this around my hairline, underneath my cheekbones and down the sides of my nose for contour, it’s a great, natural-looking bronzer.
Maybelline Facestudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in “rose gold” – THIS is an amazing highlighter! I apply it to the tops of my cheekbones and it really glows!
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Primer Mascara – My ride-or-die makeup product. This mascara primer makes all the difference in the world! I never go a day without it.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Washable Mascara in “blackest black” – Apply this mascara over the primer!
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in “pink chic” (found in store) – The perfect pinky/nude shade for a natural makeup look.
Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer – This product is for your body, but I’ve been using this for years! You can use it every day to build up a very natural looking tan, and it’s incredibly moisturizing.

I am literal the palest guy I know, I love getting a bit bronze during the summer so I rely on fake tan products so often ha ha! Thank-you for the great recommendations, Jergens sounds amazing!

Lash Paradise is the BEST! I replace mine monthly and stock up when I see it on sale. My friend who works for L’Oreal told me about it and I’ve loved it ever since! I like to regular vs waterproof version (waterproof gets a little too think/heavy feeling).

Hi, I use the Jergens self tanner too. But, I never seem to get an even tan with it. When and how do you apply it? In the AM or the PM? Do you augment it with a spray tan? Your tan always looks very even. Thanks!
